Characteristics of the Spots
Santa Cruz River:
This is the most important river in the Province of Santa Cruz, as it has a great volume. It starts at Lake Argentino and ends in the Argentinian Sea. The District of Piedrabuena is famous for Steelhead fishing, anodromous rainbow that is born in the river, develops in the sea and goes back to the river in order to spawn, thus reaching a very important size. This is a worldwide known river due to this species.
